Charming Shoppes Misses on Both Revenue and Earnings

Charming Shoppes (Nasdaq: CHRS  ) reported earnings on June 1. Here are the numbers you need to know.

For the quarter, gross margin was 54.4%, 220 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 5.9%, 70 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 3.7%, 150 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter.
