You might watch films like the Bourne Identity and wish that you had a more exciting job. It can be dull doing the same day to day activities at your desk. What could you do to bring an element of excitement into your life?
Some people live out their fantasies by watching movies. Doing this can mean that you never really have to face the boredom that you feel, by immersing yourself in the fantasy world during your out of work hours. Fight Club is a film about a man who feels like this who, as a result, goes off the rails a bit. There are, no doubt, other ways of escaping such drudgery that do not include starting ones own terrorist movement.
Starting to think about what you would like to do when you grow up will help you to choose a job that you actually like instead of one that you don’t want to do any more, when you’ve been in it for a few years. Of course, most teenagers don’t think about this in a responsible manner. The chances are you happened upon your job because of poor decision making, that is, if you are in a job that you do not like. Changing career direction at any point is always a possibility.
Great things are possible with a bit of hard work. The hardest thing to change is your mentality, as you may be stuck in a routine. You will not be able to watch films or go drinking every night, as you will need to focus your energy.
You will need to keep your day job and possibly have to save money to study in order to change career direction. There are various ways of funding your training, but most people will need to study part time for a new career.
If you don’t have a degree you can still become a lawyer but you will need to be prepared to work your way up from the bottom. However, there are ways around this and it is definitely worth looking into. If something’s worth having, it is worth waiting for. Simply law jobs feature plenty of jobs all over the UK.
