Jobless Recovery In Pictures

That brave new services economy you heard about is really here, at least as far as jobs are concerned.

The folks over at Econompic Data have produced something nice with today’sADPjobs numbers, achart of the two-year decline in manufacturing jobs: 20% fewer people work in manufacturing than did 2 years ago.

The site also compiled services and manufacturing jobs data from ADP into a comparative chart. Services jobs are growing while manufacturing jobs are still declining.

To whichClusterstocksuggests: if ISMdata Monday showed U.S. manufacturing expanded in December for the fifth month in a row, even as those manufacturing jobs were going, then we really are in a jobless recovery.
