Stocks to Watch: Stocks to Watch Friday: Juniper, Ford

CHICAGO (MarketWatch) � Juniper Networks Inc., Amgen Inc., Ford Motor Co., Chevron Corp. and Procter & Gamble Co. are among the companies whose stocks could see active trading on Friday.

Juniper Networks Inc. JNPR �shares fell 8.1% in evening trading to $20.55. The company estimated fiscal first-quarter adjusted earnings of 11 cents to 14 cents a share, and revenue of $960 million to $990 million. Analysts currently expect adjusted earnings of 27 cents a share on revenue of $1.1 billion, according to a FactSet Research survey of analysts.

Stocks fell, surrendering early gains, after a wave of disappointing economic data offset strong earnings from blue chips and the Federal Reserve's pledge to hold down interest rates.

Starbucks Corp. SBUX �shares were off 1% at $47.80. The coffee-store operator said its fiscal first-quarter profit was 50 cents a share on revenue of $3.4 billion. Analysts had expected 49 cents a share in earnings on revenue of $3.3 billion.

Biotech giant Amgen Inc. AMGN �said that its adjusted fourth-quarter profit was $1.21 a share, on revenue of $3.97 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet Research had forecast the company would earn $1.22 a share on $3.92 billion in revenue. The company said it expects revenue in 2012 between $16.1 billion and $16.5 billion, well above the $15.5 analysts had been looking for.

Semiconductor-equipment maker KLA-Tencor Corp. KLAC �late Thursday reported a fiscal second-quarter profit of $111 million, or 66 cents a share, on revenue of $642 million. Adjusted income was 72 cents a share. Analysts had expected the chip equipment maker to report earnings of 66 cents a share, on revenue of $631 million, according to a consensus survey by Thomson Reuters.

Ford F �is expected to report a fourth-quarter profit of 25 cents a share on sales of $32.6 billion, according to a poll of analysts taken by FactSet Research.

Chevron CVX �is expected to report fourth-quarter earnings of $2.86 a share on revenue of $76.8 billion.

Procter & Gamble Co. PG �is expected to post a fiscal second-quarter profit of $1.07 a share on sales of $22.18 billion.

Honeywell International Inc. HON �is expected to report a fourth-quarter profit of $1.04 a share on revenue of $9.56 billion.

Newell Rubbermaid Inc. NWL �is expected to post earnings of 38 cents a share on sales of $1.49 billion.

Legg Mason LM �is seen posting a fiscal third-quarter profit of 25 cents a share on revenue of $649.4 million.

DR Horton Inc. DHI �is seen reporting fiscal first-quarter earnings of 5 cents a share on sales of $892.2 million.

T Rowe Price Group Inc. TROW � is expected to report fourth-quarter earnings of 69 cents a share on revenue of $656.5 million.
